Jesus Christ: King, Prophet and Priest- part 1

Today we were able to attend a much blessed conference in the Clonmel Baptist Church.
 I was looking forward to it specially this being our first conference in a while, and indeed I was  blessed beyond my expectations by the 3 preachers talking on the Lord Jesus Christ.

The most amazing "feature" of the Christian life is that you never stop learning...and definitely I learn a lot about the Glory of God in sending His Son to die for the sins of His people...

The first message was about the prophetic character of our Lord and as I will never make justice to the message by writing here the main points, I will stick to 2 points that  I learned from that.

• As a prophet, Jesus Christ has revealed God for us: God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son,
• For that reason He is himself more than the foundation of all that believe,the Lord Jesus Christ is described as the chief cornerstone ( where the foundation and everything else stands),enabling us to be no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom the whole building being fitted together, grows into a whole temple in the Lord, in whom you (we) are also being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.
