The Mind of Christ!

Now we have received, not the Spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God...( 2 Co 2:12)
For who has know the mind of the Lord that he might instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ. 
(2 Co 2:16)

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.  (Rom 12:2)

When I wasn't a Christian I could discuss ideologies, truthful and righteous principles and to some extent noble beliefs. I have to recognise that even in my fallen mind I could talk about things that were honourable, and even worthy pursuing.In fact what I couldn't do was to incorporate those ideologies to my life in a way that it would shape my attitudes and way of living...

As a Christian I came to understand the consequences of having the mind of Christ, and the powerful way in which the Holy Spirit dwells in us.I perceived a change in my own desires, conversation, thoughts and hopes which was the result of my mind being shaped to conform to Christ's.

At last I understood that my unconverted friend's mind was no longer my own! (Anonymous)
