As you all know by now, the city of Christchurch, in the south island of New Zealand has been struck by a severe earthquake, about 2 days ago. The city is destroyed and even the buildings that are still standing will probably have to be rebuilt.
Thankfully to GOD, Auckland (where I am) is far from Christchurch and does not suffer much from Earthquakes( though there are a few active volcanoes in here, which when erupt,....you don't wanna know).The reason why I'm writing this post is to remind all to be praying for the brethren in Christchurch, since there are a few churches in there. Christchurch is the second largest city in the country(around 350 000 people) and so far there are still 300 people missing while 71 are confirmed dead. The cost for rebuilding the city will be massive, but the pain of losing a loved one is greater.
Let us all be praying, that the LORD may comfort those that lost loved ones and that Christians may be able to witness to all in these difficult times.
